I've learned a lot about food and nutrition, tons of new cooking and baking techniques, made new friends and ripped off of a lot of peoples' recipes. It is safe to say that I have accomplished more than what I had set out to do for my first year with my real website.
-I had made my own goal for how many visitors I wanted for a year and exceeded it by a whopping 50% (That's admittedly and surprisingly ridiculous).
-I posted 82 blog entries
-I had 39 of my own recipes entered into my CrOOK Book
-Made an ass out of myself (and admitted it)
-Called people fat
-Tried to make, nay help, people not be fat
-Got advice (and a few thumbs up) from celebrity chef Ellie Krieger
-Made a couple hundred Twitter friends (Nicole Humphrey Cook gets a special shout out as do thegayveggie, Dsmfood, NYC Foodie Girl, and others that I'm totally omitting 'cause I'm a dick and absent minded)
-Won a recipe contest (At Daina Falk's "The Hungry Fan")
-Pissed off my mother with bad language
-Pissed my mother off even more with bad grammar
-Gotten too tired at year-end to focus too much on finishing this post...
A year is as long as it is short and I am so glad and thankful to have all my followers (friends, family and strangers) and their support. Thanks from the top of my bottom.
